So instead of asking someone for help (me?), they decide the best way to repair the problem is to go out and buy all new stuff.
They said after a couple minutes of 'on time", the unit would shut down and display "overload".
I'll be installing all of it in my sons room. Should look nice flanking his 42" LCD.
You said you blew a lot of dust out of it, maybe the output stage was overheating. And/or they had it closed in a cupboard.Anyway, you can't do better than free
