I'm sure a water jet would work great.  I've used one to cut foam inserts.

Come to think of it...this is an option that Danny could easily provide with his kits.  For a few extra bucks he can provide pre cut No Rez pieces for each of the kits.  That would be cool.   8)

There are many shops that can handle this kind of work for a nominal fee.

Use a razor to mark your cut, then use snips or a large pair of heavy duty scissors to cut.  I purchased a pair of large, heavy duty scissors from Home Depot for under $10 and they work great.

Yes, table saw is the easiest way to cut it.

I use a band saw. Works great.

I use a paper cutter. The guillotine kind with a large blade, not a sliding one.

I used a sharp pair of scissors.  Lets just say my hands weren't too fond of the No Rez, but it got the job done  :thumb:

For internal applications, I've used a utility knife and it worked just fine.
For external applications (ie V2, V1, Super V) I'd use a table saw/band saw so that you have nice clean edges...they can be seen!

Hey Jon,

I use a table saw to rip and sliding miter saw to chop.

Takes less than 5 min. to cut No Rez for a pair of N3S's.

I really don't like using a table saw as it is hard to get the residue off your blade.  It certainly does make quick work of No Rez, but the cleanup is a pain.  I have used kitchen shears pretty effectively, and a band saw does a great job.

You get a build up huh?

I've never had an issue with No Rez gumming up my blades and I've cut a lot of it.

Which section of your blade is getting dirty?

I used one of those Habor Frieght multipurpose tools.  Worked like a charm.

Here is a pic of it cutting through my veneer which was way harder.

I used a jigsaw.  cut thru it like butter.  And the jigsaw blade is a lot thinner than a tablesaw blade.  So there was a lot less waste
