What would the maximum RMS and also peak wattage be for an MFW-15 in sealed 3.0 cu ft box?

The driver is rated for 225 watts. I happen to have a model open in WinISD Pro right now. With that amount of power in a 3 cu ft box it won't exceed X-Max (13 mm) unless you are trying to play content below 7 Hz. Per Mark Seaton the X-Mech is 20 mm. Therefore it should handle peaks of 550-600 watts without exceeding that excursion.

I know many that are using them with 300 watt or 350 watt amps with no problems at all.

The AV123 MFW-15 amp was 350watts. I don't know all the specs for the factory enclosure though.

Wow I never heard that. Shows how much stuff changed there from day to day ...  :duh: I have V1's (still working perfect btw :D) and knew they were 350watts.

I still have a very hard time believing those ever made anywhere NEAR 500W.
I have to believe that was all a hype " here is this new amp to replace your blown up one, and its even more powerfull"

The V1 is said to be 350 watts. The V2 and V3 amps are said to be around 500 watts.
