My LS6s next to my LS9s. Both from Hugh. I am in temporary digs right now due to a remodel.  The Cardboard on the 6's is to discourage our Manx from jumping up (it works) the 9's are too tall.

The sweet spot is exactly 17 feet back. The new room will be much larger so with more space between the speakers, that may change.

I'd love to see these babies in their new room once you move them into their permanent resting place. :)

Hugh,

Are you firming up plans for another production run? I am serious about another pair of Piano Rosewood LS-6s if we can get another group together for another purchase.

Hi Art,

You're considering selling your 9's?!! :o

If you do, what will you be replacing them with?

Just sent you an unrelated PM.

PM back Ruben.

I'm looking at a few things right now and narrowing down, there'll be more to come once I get into it.

Thanks anyway Art. I already have a pair of gorgeous LS-6s also via Hugh. I have OCD. Though they are both perfect, they are not the same color of finish and so I am hoping Hugh will get another order together so I can have LS-6 cabinets that match my LS-9s.

MF,

So far we got a couple of requests such as yours.

We're hoping to get minimum required quantity then we'll be good to go.

Thanks again for your trust.

Hugh, I am new at this and don't know what I am doing.  I called GR-research and they suggested I contact you.  My son passed away and left a LS-9 kit in the box and two speaker boxes made by AV123 Perputal Tech.  I would like to sell these.  Would you be interested?

Glenn, welcome to the circle, and I'm sorry it isn't under better circumstances.  Deepest condolences on the loss of your son - I can't even imagine. . .

Might I suggest putting a For Sale thread in the Trading Post forum here on AC http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?board=104.0.  I've done business here in the past, and I would hope that you could do as well in finding a home for the speaker kit.

Also, check out this forum:  www.chasehometheater.com/forum/ as a lot of former AV123 enthusiasts hang around there and could also maybe help you out.

Best of luck and cheers to better days!

Danny, feel free to modify this post if needed. :)

I'm sorry about the loss of your son. I'd like to help out if I can.

What finish is on the LS-9 speakers?
