One of the nicest ones I've seen with regard to photography.
Thank you for that.

Yes indeed!  Nice photo work, nice room, a serene escape at the end of the day, I'm sure.  Welcome to the circle, Keoma.

Thank you, Bob and Jake, for the nice words! Yes, the room is my daily refuge from all things stressful and modern. Took me years and years to finally HAVE my own dedicated room, and to get it to where it is now, but it was worth it and I'm pretty proud of it.  :D Glad you liked the images!

Here's a few more of the room itself (apologies if tubes are not the main focus in this specific post):   :D

Æ and cityjim,

Those are sweet looking, and I'll bet sounding too.

Keoma,

Thanks for the extra room pics.  Definitely a beautiful room.

These are my DIY HiFi LadyDay amps. I think the chassis and a few other parts are still original. The (sort of) Rube Goldberg module is a tube shunt regulator for the driver tube. I simple ran out of space on the chassis surface never mind the interior! I am sure that some of you modders have run into that problem before.

I swapped out the old Harman Kardon F50xk

for a Jolida headphone amp (from a fellow ACer) and a Sherwood S3000-V

and with new Sovtek and JJ tubes in the Jolida it sounds tremendous.  The soundstage really opened up and I'm finally happy with the AKG 701s.
