A combo of SS source's and preamp but underpinned by four Rogue M150 mono's. Photo isnt 100% current as I have changed my tonearm and 'table mat..but rest is current.

Tubes can be seen sexily peaking over the top

Used to use a Copland tube pre-amp but I went on a balanced/XLR kick, so it had to go.

Now I am fully balanced from  all source components to power amps including running my cartridge via a balanced cable.

Question: I havent strayed from using EH tubes with my Rogues... any suggestions regarding tube rolling?

Nice red stuff, what brand are these transformers?? Edcor?

HI FULLRANGEMAN,these are very very old ECC35(Earliest type) and just working faultlessly,personally I like the second version(black plate with D getter) which I had 20 of them,the D getter sounds more open,lively and dynamic,and the Mid never sounds lean, The first version sounds more weight and a bit slow,it all depends what your system need.

Unfortunately this seems true, being mentioned only in the NOS WE300B x 300B new crop.
I think the secret in the NOS WE300B good sound is in the cathode wire metal formula or any procedure of making the metal wire.
Who made that cathode wire already died and the cathode wire formula registered in the books are incomplete or even may be an unknow treatment in the wire after the cast.

Who will discover it again?? WE failed in 1998 with that 300B release.
