Even I never like Siemens valves but will love to try this 82,would it be a 83 version?.When I first got my welded plate D getter 82, I was wondering they should be a version with holes on plate, this Siemens tell me it do exist. :duh:

These two looks identical apart one of them without bars on plate,I don't know which one is earlier but guess the one with bars is the later version.

The early Siemens Munich ecc82-3 with D getter are much scarce than O double support getter or single support "telefunken" fat getter.

I've never seen a Munich ecc83 with non welded plates and D getter like this one.

Siemens long plate ecc82-3 have not the clarity and top extension of other philips plants tubes made in the same period, but retain all the characteristic magical mids of 50's long plates.

There is also a Copenhagen or Holland ecc82-3 with welded plates made from 54 to very early 55 getter D with foil, much rare than "common" D  getter without foil made in 53 to late 54.

Same codes? It also can be made in the same day but the operator for any reason did not push the button that activate the making of ribbs and that's all....

I think the right one is early version, because not only with no bar,but also with an early version D getter ,the D getter is a little narrow and the wire is also alittle thick,it only appears in early version.

I have no real info about this but most of the times I've found Valvo red painted codes these are very special tubes, rare ones.

I was refering to the top end above upper mica, it seems that does not touch the folded square getter

talking about tele ecc801s, how do you compare the sound of early double oo getter with common one?

I can't see any different size of the getter and the wire  :scratch:but when looking at the 1552 version the plate doesn't have bar on it so I guess the Bar Version is a later version

If the printed is right ( R6D ) then the 1951 version should not been made in that year.
