i would be more than content w/the small engine. 230hp in a 1350lb car, w/0-to-60 time of 2.9s is good enough for me. maybe i am getting soft in my old age?

Yellow is the battery, the big black thing is the fuel cell.

That's just nothing short of amazing. I've always loved that car, and you've hotrodded the daylights out of one, and maintained its stock (external) appearance. Kudos to you.

What used to be my daily driver - 2000 Suzuki SV650. Twice totaled, and modified a fair bit. (I'm #71 stuffing it up the inside and overtaking him - fun times.)

Don't race anymore, but still have the bike.

Now, my daily driver is a 1990 Toyota Celica ST at around 195k miles and gets around 27-33 miles a gallon depending on weather and driving habits.

And, I have to share this one because I do love it (although I long for a twin for the road again):

I wasn't sure on that one either, but NOS came to my mind too. Maybe a fire suppression system?
Did you catch the NOS "blow off" in the one picture?

I missed the blow off under the hood.

I was busy loving the mirror'd finish of the underside of the hood - you can see reflections in it of the motor and ground etc. AWESOME stealth mod, only seen when at the show and shine with the hood up.

Here's mine, a 2013 GLI Autobahn. Fun to drive and lots of nifty gadgets. While I sometimes miss the build quality of my 2010 A4, I do like all the extra money I now have to blow on audio gear.

Original owner and a Hot Rodder, kept the exterior stock, but nothing else. 1 of 384 SE Bandits with the Pontiac engine, 4 sp, and hard top. Small fuel cell is for racing gas for the NOS - totally separate fuel systems. It has a Ram Air 400 Engine, SD 455 Rods, Single plane high rise intake with a Demon 825 cc carb, 3" custom exhaust with electric dumps, billet coil over shocks with tube control arms, 6 piston brakes, digital ignition, quad remote oil filters, etc. Painted it and did the stripes in my garage.
