Any of you local guys have first hand impressions of the Wyred 4 Sound amplifiers?  Or know of a place here in St. Louis where I can preview them?

I replaced a Pass X-250 with Wyred a few years ago.  I didn't regret that decision at all.

Big thanks to Kent Johnson!  On Blackmore's suggestion, I contacted him regarding his W4S STI-500.  Got to listen to it thru his amazing system. The W4S sounded really nice. No harshness or listening fatigue, pretty sweet!  Very easy to listen to. Plus those Maggies are really something. The imaging was a real treat!

I'm selling the VK-60 monos to help pay for the Von Schweikert VR33s and will probably be getting the ST-500 amp and switching between that and my stereo VK60 tube amp.

I'll keep everyone posted on the new setup. Should probably have people over to hear them sometime in April.  Thanks again Kent!

Thanks for the nice remarks, Brian.  I'll look forward to hearing the VR-33s.  The room at October's RMAF was too noisy and busy to really get to hear them.
