Thank you for this, lenticularis! My Error 09 was cured by changing the battery but this additional information could come in handy one day.

Jozsef,

I'm pleased that it may be of use to you and others.

I received a very prompt reply from Adam Tanner of Bryston who stated "There is probably some file corruption on that SSD that is preventing the Motherboard from booting correctly.
It could even be physical damage to a section of the memory and the drive needs to be replaced.
BUT,
If you are using the unit as a ROON endpoint then that drive is not necessary anyway..."

So, although my use of the streamer is purely as a Roon endpoint (I have all of my music accessed from a NAS drive), the 09 error needed to be solved.

regards,

David

Unfortunatey I again have the dreaded 09 Error happening, with or without either end of the SSD cable plugged into the SSD or mainboard. I'll have to place a support job.

Excellent support again from Bryston (Adam Tanner assigned) after I raised a support request. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of what appears to be an intermittent Error 09 problem.

Another question  - I've seen elsewhere in AudioCircle I think, that the BDP-2 with updated audio board gives USB ports a transmit function, so does that mean I can drive a USB DAC using one of the front or rear USB sockets?
