I just wanted to get back with you guys and let you know that I rolled an RCA 6CG7 tube into my Decco2 and it is working great. I am much more pleased with the sound now too. Still thinking about trying some others for fun though. Thanks again everyone for you help.

Outstanding, jlafrenz!  Glad you found a solution.  Perhaps did you get yourself a "cleartop"? 
 
Typically the flashing and getter are on one side of the tube about half way down the length of the plates (although not visible in the photo).  Yummy in the right circuit.

Mine looks very similar except the logo is a bit different. Same thing?

Probably, the logo changed over the years as did the marking process.
