Have a vintage Pioneer SX1250 receiver I bought new in the 70’s. Prefer not to ship. Live in NE Florida. Would like to get it rebuilt as it is long in the tooth. Willing to drive anywhere in Florida or Georgia, possibly NC. Any suggestions anyone?

Google is your friend!
Florida:

Allen's Audio & Video Repair 1815 15th St #19, Panama City, FL 32401 (850) 785-6332
In Georgia most of the repair shops are around Atlanta with a couple in Savannah.
Good luck, that Pioneer SX-1250 is well worth it.

Thank each of you for the response. Reviewed the links. There are a few good candidates that specialize in the old Pioneer SX series close by, namely in Jax and O-town.

Happy to help! One of the cool benefits of these forums, eh?
Please keep us posted on your progress. And I suggest you start a new "Pioneer SX-1250 Restoration" thread. I believe it would serve fellow vintage enthusiaats if you started this new threas in our Vintage Circle.
