Thanks for your feedback. As one visitor said "you guys nailed it!".  :thumb:
The veneer was walnut.

Great to see you at AXPONA Rick! The system sounded wonderful. The DEQX and SLR treatments tamed the poor acoustics at the Sheraton better than any other small room. It was a nice comfortable feeling to be in there compared to many rooms with system or acoustic flaws that were too distracting to relax into the music. This is the 3rd show demo I have heard of yours and the best so far. The speakers are perfectly sized for that room and have the usual tonal transparency and dynamics of all of your active speakers. The satin finished, dark subtly figured veneer were absolutely beautiful. What kind of wood is that?

Rick,

Just wanted to post my comments on my two separate visits to your demo on Sunday.

The MA-1 was great sounding, far better than many things i heard at the show. The low-end on the opening track of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (of the same name) was incredible for two ~7 in. woofers.

Overall, it was a very well executed loudspeaker and can't wait to have you do a kit for me-please don't stop selling kits!!!!!

It was also a pleasure meeting you and well worth the 1430 mile, red-eye commute to visit you.

Thanks,

Greg

"...and can't wait to have you do a kit for me-please don't stop selling kits!!!!!"

Ditto!!!  I'm saving up to put together a pair of the TRT's and possibly some rear channel monitors using a 20L cabinet with one AirCirc tweeter and one Revelator 8531 mid/woofer.....

Thanks for your feedback - we received many positive comments at the show. No plans to stop selling kits either!

Rick that is a fantastic looking design with high WAF potential.  Will you be brining them to RMAF this year?

The passive version is -3db @38hz. With the DEQX equalization I spec 30hz but it can be lower depending on how much headroom you need. We also are using the woofer for new versions of the Tanzanite / RC3R designs.
