How much you notice the difference between 720P and 1080P depends on three factors:1. Source material - you need 1080p sources (bluray, SAT/FIOS, etc...)2. Size of the screen3. Distance from the screenThe closer you sit to the screen, the more you will notice the difference. Also, the larger the screen, the more you will notice the difference. So if you have a larger screen 50"+ and sit reasonably close, you can easily see the difference. If you are like me and have a 110" screen, it is very obvious that there is a difference between 720P and 1080P.George
Yes. The two models I am looking at are Panasonic Viera Plasma vs. Sony Bravia LED.
I'm bummed they quit making the Viera Plasma in the 42 inch size. My wife won't let me go bigger than that for the living room (when there's a 92 inch screen/projector and 7.2 downstairs).
The Panny website shows 6 Viera 42"ers...
Why don't you just get a 1080p plasma? They make them now.
Not in the 42 inch range size. Or if they do, I can't find one. (And I don't think I need it anyway, given how far I sit from the TV.)
