Just got the latest Parts Express catalog and saw this amp for $99. Serves as a headphone amp too..

Thanks.  I saw the same ad and though "wow, nice little T-amp, I want one."

So I hunted for info and found photos of the guts that put me off:

The photos are of an early example, so I am hoping that the factory got things sorted.  Does anyone know if that's true?

I have the DTA-100 as well as the Parts Express Sure TK2050. The Sure is the better of the two and with the Meanwell PS the price is the same.

Whoops!  Cheap but not so Cheerful! Those photos show horrible soldering technique. Better stick with DIY!
