One of my favorite things at the CES was the high definition video. The next hi-def will apparently be 3840x2160 ("4Kx2K", compared to 1920x1080 currently) and will be labelled "UHD". What this means from another perspective is that we will move from a screen showing "2 megapixels" with 1080p to a screen showing "10 megapixels". Digital cameras are already doing 18+ "megapixels" but this is moving pictures.
Let me tell you, this will make a difference. This will be the "real 3D" because what you see in some cases takes on a 3D look due to such high resolution.

QNAP does highly-rated Network Attached Storage boxes and also video surveillance - I want one of their NAS units!

There were a lot of booths that had a photo set so that they could demonstrate their cameras...

Here is Kinect -like technology, displayed by Intel. This technology will be huge in the next couple of years to control things with gestures and for machines to detect 3D mapping for their own navigation...also other things
