Beresford TC-7520 DAC?

I read a spectacularly positive review on What HiFi on the Beresford TC-7520 DAC. Has anyone heard it in action? It runs about $200.

Is it the one that was compared to Maverick D1? (or vice versa)
If so, then it might be the real deal.

Soaking in the tube listening to Maverick D1, Onkyo ND-S1 iPod transport and AKG702 cans.

Sounds good to me.  :thumb:

Someone here said it was in the same class as their OPPO 83se so I  bought one and I'm very pleased with it.  It's much more resolving and fuller in tone than my Cambidge Audio player.

I owned one for a while, both stock and then with upgraded opamps. For the price it is a quality DAC that punches well beyond its weight.

Compared with this DAC or other new ones, how obsolete is my Arcam CD-72 player? It still sounds good to me.
