I am currently rebuilding my PA cabinets and have the option of reconing my Eminence speakers to 400W copper or 600W Aluminum. Other than MORE POWER, not sure which is better and why. Anyone can fill me in on the +'s and -'s?
You need to check whether or not the parameters of the drivers will change with one or the other. If they're the exact same except for power rating, then picking the higher power rating is probably what you want to do.
However, if there are other differences between them, then you may want to stick with whatever was originally used since it was what the speaker system was designed around.
