Is the rifle there in case you want to shoot the hell out of it if it sounds bad :lol:Hope it sounds great
Haha that's actually an illusion, the rifle
Is actually a very small toy and is sitting on the coffee table which kinda blends into the floor. Look at the remote right beside......
I took some quick numbers and everything looks good. No mysterious rattles and resonance seems at least as low as the original. I know this I prob not absolutely perfect for sub comparison but it's a good snapshot of the subs performance. I ran test tones at a Level which would result in moderate spl. I level matched the subs with the white noise from receiver and ran the tones and recorded spl independently at the listening position. The room orientation was as pictured so there was about 3-4ft difference in position but close enough for this go.
Also note the sub did not like 10hz @96db.......... It clipped pretty hard after about 3 seconds......hehe.

Freq New sub. Original
20. 94. 94
30. 101. 101
40. 103. 102
50. 97. 98
60. 101. 103
70. 102. 105
80. 101. 102
Looks like the original had a little more swell above 40hz making the making the numbers of mine flatter, but this could have a little to do with position.
I'm going to call this a personal success.
