All,

The first formal review of the Signature 30.2 LFP-V Edition Integrated:

http://www.digitalaudioreview.net.au/index.php/audio-reviews/amplifier-reviews/item/165-red-wine-audio-signature-302-lfp-v-edition

I want to thank John Darko of Digital Audio Review for his efforts in writing such a comprehensive review of the Signature 30.2 LFP-V Integrated, and awarding it with a 5-star, "Highly Recommended" rating.

I enjoyed how he made comparisons to other amplifiers (especially a more expensive 300B stereo integragted), including the original Sig 30  (and the wine analogies were fun!), and how he used a few different pairs of speakers - as well as the detailed pictures.

With much gratitude,

Vinnie

And so it begins..........the first of what will no doubt become a steady flow of ultra positive reviews.

This was a great review.

Congratulations Vinnie!

I am counting the minutes until I see mine arrive at my front door! I am going to be using mine to power a pair of Harbeth P3ESR's.
Come home to poppa!

"And frankly, I didn't care. Even in mains mode, the 30.2 LFP-V edition had already convinced me that it is a freak of nature. This is an integrated that has it all: detail, separation, warmth, musicality, fluidity, tonal density and colour. It sounds so utterly right. It is clean. It is open. It is honest. It has coherence such that one would swear it to be musically conscious. Its musicality is (for once) not a euphemism for a dearth of detail and it kicks sand in the face of the more pious Tripath detractors."

Nice review.   Agreed whole-heartedly.  Just sounds great.   What else to ask for?

I was not disappointed with my previous RWA gear, but one thing in particular, I was very impressed with Vinnie's upgrade ability.   Thanks, Vinnie.   You take care of your customers  very well.   :-)

The previous model Signature 30.2 was a satisfying and accomplished device.

However the Signature 30.2 LFP-V Edition is an astounding level or two -- or three -- above that.   I marvel at how virtuosic it is: careful handling of the musical flow, subtle reveal of detail, sweetness, satisfying production of tone color, and confident delivery.  Maybe in a year I can tell you what nuance it fails to provide, but for the life of me I can't tell you what that may be, listening to it now.

I can't describe it as John Darko has done, but happily I don't need to.  Read his review; I can readily confirm that he is not overstating his case.

As I think about all of the fancy amps I've lusted for over the years... I can't think of anything I would trade this for.  Really.

Oh, I think I can come up with something...how about a pair of 70.2 LFP-Vs?  :icon_lol:

Hi John,

I have not submitted the 30.2 or 70.2 LFP-V Edition for any other reviews at this time.

If any new ones are in the works, I'll be sure to post about it here.

All the best,

Vinnie
