Assuming they're good, they would seem to be a good buy. I don't typically see PS Audio wire at 50% off like many brands...at least for a few years.

I bought the Extreme Power Cable (0.5mtr.) a month ago at 40% or so off list and I was very pleased as they tend to go for more used on Audiogon.

Buy one and let us know if it's a good deal!

I went and did: bought 2 0.5 meter and 2 1 meter cables. We'll see how they sound. If I love 'em, boy, will I be happy!

They have to be better than my 15 year old no-name cables.

Went with the xSTREAM Statements, the half off really took a big bite off the bill. Since I live in a rural area, I don't have a lot of opportunities to check things out, so I often rely on what I read.

Back in the day, my Linn had the tiniest little RCA cables hooked up to it, now they're big and beefy with the upgrades I had done. I at least have to match the rest of the components.

I received the cables, have them hooked up between my VanAlstine Hybrid Preamp and Amp. Good to have the right length because they are super stiff but also super built. I live in the boonies so I haven't done any swapping tests, also because my listening room is a work in progress with Eighth Nerve treatments ready to go up, etc. etc.

So far I'm really happy with them, also because the interconnects I was previously using were abominably cheap-o!

The sale allowed me to buy Statement level interconnects and it prevented me from "building my own." I haven't held a soldering iron in nearly 20 years and I'm sure I have a burn mark here and there from when I did...

The PS Audio crowd seems to be fond of packing a lot of pure copper in their wires...so I know what you mean by stiff.

My 1 meter Statement PC is mucho stiff...6 ga. wire will do that oftentimes.

How far is Cadillac, MI from anywhere? I travel to both Detroit and Grand Rapids yearly and thought I've heard of your town somewhere along the way....tho I've never been.

Cadillac MI is about 100 miles due north of Grand Rapids,
40 miles away from Traverse City.
