Hard to go wrong with ECM, top notch artists & quality recordings. Simply a matter of taste on what moves ya.

I've bought 16 more ECM since Bill gifted me the first, they all sound very good, a few simply amazing. Like CTI, there is a ECM 'sound', so 3 in a row are about it for one sitting.

No question, re: ECM 'sound'. Any Eberhard Weber, John Abercrombie, or Terje Rypdal in that 16 ? Worth checking out imo, all favorites of mine.

Nice group of into to ECM. 'Waves' is a good one, lots to check out in their stable, I'm still trying out 'new' folks from time to time.
