Bought this 3 months ago and barely listened to it as tt was running weird when it came to speed control.

While cross listening 2 amps, and testing Dave's Cables as part of his tour, I finally pulled platter, wiped off all old grease and reapplied fresh - problem solved. It had been over 2 years since I bought the tt used, and I never lubed it once.

I know - I'm a blockhead.

Now I have to audition a Van Alstine hybrid amp.
