I have a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+
It's got built-in SlimServer.
I have a Logitech Squeezebox classic (SB3).
I upgraded my ReadyNAS software to version 4.1.6 and slimserver to (i think) 7.3.2
That carried with it a firmware upgrade to the SB3, now at fw 123
Now, the issue that appeared is that between SOME TRACKS, there's a horrible digital scratching sound just as one track finishes. This is brand new, never happened before.
It is consistent, and always occurs between the same tracks. It occurs both using analog out from SB3 and digital coax out to an external DAC/
The source files are ripped with Apple iTunes, in various resolution, (mostly 256) or Apple Lossless
Anybody seen similar issues, ever?
Any ideas? Re-rip certain tracks?
