Hi,
I don't have one but I remember them well, from the '80s (MK1). Nice turntable. Somebody on VE has both a Delphi and an Alexandria and says they're very close in performance. That's also how I remember it. I set-up and demoed both, and was surprised at how good the Alexandria was. Saw it with a couple of different arms though. The Sumiko FT3 was sometimes used and was a nice combo. Here's some info:

Apparently there was a MK2 and MK3 versions. Now a reborn Oracle co is coming out with a MK10 for $5500 w/arm.

I'm the dude with both the Alex Mk I and the Delphi Mk II.  The Alex went up to Mk IV, but most you'll find are MK I.  They are great tables and sound particularly good with the stock Prelude arm.  I've never had any major issues with mine.  I doubt you could do better new for under $1,800 or so.  They are also much, much easier to set up than the Delphi.  I'd say they're 90-95% of the Delphi's performance at a fraction of the cost.

Looking forward to the new Alex Mk X and Paris Mk X tables!

Thanks!  The Vinyl Engine stuff was helpful.  I used to have an alexandria many years ago and really loved it, so I moved on this one and will pick up Sat.

Currently have a Delphi V with SME arm, so this is going to make a great addition to the rack.
