Tittle says it all.  What is YOUR favorite tube amp kit?  It can be one that you've built or one that you continue to look at for a future build.

Yes, your designs count!!!

WHAT IS IT?

The Tube Lab Simple SE

The amp can be built for as little as $250.00. You can also spend over $1,000.00 on upgraded parts.

I have helped Pez build a pair of them. I have heard one of them driving Mike Galusha'a GedLee Abbeys. They sound fantastic. For a fairly easy build that you can tweak to your heart's content, the Simple SE is the favorite of many.

The DIYTube ST35 is a good build; you can buy the board for $50 or a complete kit with everything for $500.

Bob Latino has a modified version of a Dynaco ST70 in a kit form for $750 with everything.

or you can get a Dynaco ST70 with the original driver board at for $675

I really like the ST70 amplifier as there is a variety of driver boards available; changing the driver board essentially gives you an entirely different amplifier.  It's a matter of finding one that best complements your system.

Some day I would like to assemble a kit.  There are many great options out there.  One I would consider is this one:

The K-502 kits seem to be popular for the novice DIYer.
They are sold by a few vendors, here is one:

It's not offered anymore but the Wellborne 300b DRD is SET sonic bliss (at least in my ears)

If you are serious about one, Jack Ellano at ElectraPrint can set you up with all the iron and parts  :thumb:
