I would like to know it's physical size as it is not stated on the web site.

I don't know the size but at that price doesn it really matter?  I'm tempted to reserve one and see how it is...

This guy is in the market for a new DAC to better my Maverick D1 to the dirty work for my Squeezebox Touch.

This looks interesting but I still have reservations about Emotiva but in this economic climate it may be a good option for me.

What do you smart guys know about the Burr Brown chip and op amps.

........ and 30 day trial period (if I am not mistaken).
My new DAC costs 5X its price with "similar" features.
So, yes. It sounds like interesting product.
Ofcaurse we need someone to test drive this thing ???!!!

Nifty.  I just got an email forwarded to me from my dad acknowledging his reservation of one of these suckers.  I should get to hear one soon.

The funny part is that the mod guys are going to have a field day with this unit.  In the end it will cost $1500.   :duh:

Looks really interesting.  I might consider ordering one at that price point for a secondary system

Its obviously your call as to whether you want to pay someone or diy a change to more appropriate, and less cost constrained I/V converter opamps.

Based on what one of the engineers at Emofest told me, the USB wil only support 16/44.1 and 16/48.

Wow is right. At that price point, I wouldn't expect too much from SQ. But who cares - with those looks and features they're going to sell like hotcakes! Purty!

The only info I've recalled about the AD1955 is that it has a more analytical presentation. The BB 2134 would probably counter that as it's known for it's bass and warmer tone (which I agree). But this is just speculation. Would be interesting if the opamps were easily swappable (I'm betting no).

D/A conversion: high performance, multibit Sigma-Delta Burr Brown AD1955

Isn't the AD1955 made by Analog Device? Is the Burr Brown a typo?

From my experience with headphone amps those BB 2134 are a good bang for the buck; nice big warm sound.

It looks like from the frequency response that is doesn't do high-rez :(
Frequency Response: 5Hz - 48kHz
