Is there a comparison table that shows all the current (or past) Martin Logan speakers? I know that this is an exaggeration, but it seems that every time I look through audio vendor catalogs it seems that there are several dozen ML speakers with seemingly very little differences and heavy discounts.

What are the important sonic differences between the various ML speaker models?

Visit the ML site and you will see that the speakers organized into hierarchies. The ESL Reserve being the best speakers ML offers. Most old line ML owners normally think that the first two hierarchies are true successors to the older speakers. There have been many new speakers released recently (four years or so), many of them aren't ESL's. The site also has a list of its discontinued speakers with timelines.

The latest and best by a a noticeable sum  is any one of the 3 speakers in the latest Renaissance series.
Everything is totally modular, using only high quality name brand components ,dual powered BASS WOOFERS PER CABINET powering everything from 300hz
On down,  Anthem room correction option for all midbass- low bass.  Midbass,and low bass is full adjustable
And the panel itself is much more rigid using Aircraft grade extruded aluminum much thicker and solid
Music is more detailed and refined. This new technology is on some ways more precise then there flagship
All electrical components are in a seperst e isolated chamber on the bottom  and the  WBT solid Berillium Copper Gold Speaker terminals are a 1st for Martin Logan . It is now like having a modified hi specified
Speaker at no extra cost.

FYI: There are some M/L Expression ESL 15A, 13A and 11A reviews out there.

Interesting features are dipolar bass (similar to the panels radiation pattern) with variable polarity phase bias that reacts to room acoustics, amp load and operates on other principals than a simple fixed crossover frequency.
