  Well, to tell the back story I am preparing to retire in about two years and I am collecting toys for that future.  I'm pretty satisfied with my choices and am looking for more unique gear to collect.  I wish my place was a bit bigger so I could store more stuff and set up more systems.

To that end I think I'm going to swap my office (a small 12' x 10' room) and my master bedroom (~12' x 18').  I can shove my bed in the small room and turn the Master into another pretty nice listening room.  The long term downside is in about 7-10 years the new bedroom will become too far from the bathroom for those midnight emergencies. LOL!

Thanks Steve, I’m on a similar path like JakeJ, I’ll be retiring in less then two years and also collecting the toys I want going forward.. I started putting my latest system together about a year ago and it hasn’t stopped yet. I still love seeing the Fedex driver pull up with something new, it never gets old.

I would also like to have a larger room but that ain’t happening unless we move and that ain’t happening any time soon.. JakeJ, that is one kick ass system you have there. I got allot of catching up to do.. lol..

A side benefit to paring down the component count and staying in the 2-channel realm is that the wiring is cleaner.

Mk 1, Mod 0

I finally have a place to put these. Got them set up two weeks ago. This is Mk1, Mod 0 of a journey to integrate Tympani IVa base, mid panels and ribbon tweeter with B&G RD75 mids and bi-amp.

Speakers: Magnepan LRS, Magnepan MG12QR, Magnepan MMG-W(Rear surrounds), Klipsch RP-160M on Mission Stancette Stands(with GR Research crossover Upgrade)+another single RP-160M used as center channel
Subs: Boston Acoustic VR500+ JAMO J112 both powered by Yamaha P5000 since internal amps are dead
Open Baffle subs used along with LRS: Celestion 6000 Dipole subs(probably older than me but they are just amazing when paired with the LRS)
Cables: Just highest quality Interconnects and biggest gauge copper wires I find locally. I don't care for branded expensive cables

 Deciding on dual or triple Gr Research OB subs.

At the time of the photo, they were driven by an Emotiva BasX A300, but last fall I replaced that with a pair of PS Audio M700 monoblocks.

Hi! I'm a newbie here, and was immediately drawn to this Circle.

These are the Quad ESL-63 USA Monitors that I used for over 20 years. That is a Vanderseen 2WQ sub holding up a lamp in the corner. This system really sang in a smallish listening room.
