I’m putting my RBH T2/P Reference Beryllium Series speakers up for sale for two reasons: I have too many speakers and I want to get smaller speakers that are easier to move around. The speaker cabinets are somewhat large and heavy. Each weighs approximately 80 – 90 pounds. The cabinets are black in color. I believe the veneer used is Ash. The full-range cabinets are about 10 pounds heavier than the bass cabinets. All cabinets are set up for bi-wiring. I purchased these speakers new in 2009.
From what I understand the Beryllium Series was a short-lived series. A difference could be heard but it was not worth the extra cost.
The speakers look pretty impressive (especially with the grilles off) but they really need a larger room than I have them in. I’m a rocker and I play them with some volume from time to time. The air and the walls vibrate. I almost feel like I’m at a rock concert. These speakers sound amazing!
There are one pair of full range cabinets and one pair of low-range cabinets. The full range cabinets have beryllium midbass drivers and silk dome tweeter drivers. The SEN-1010 bass cabinets have the standard 2 10-inch drivers.
Also included in this package are two SA-400 mono amps for the bass cabinets. These amps also have crossover circuitry.
There are a few itty-bitty flaws to tell you about. They are not big deals at all but I do want you to know about them. One of the woofers has a dent in the cone. It does not affect anything. The speaker was like that when I opened the box. I noticed that right away when I removed the grille. I assume something happened at the factory. I didn’t say anything about it; maybe I should have. One of the top cabinets has a small piece of lower edge that was dinged by me when putting the cabinet on top of its woofer cabinet. The cabinet separator covers most of this up so it can't easily be seen. There is a small dent at a top corner of one of the cabinets. It is not very noticeable at all, especially when looking at the speakers from a distance.
I still have the original boxes, packaging, and manuals.
Please contact me if you would like to come to my house to see and hear the speakers. I’m in the Des Moines, Iowa area.
Please contact me for large, high-resolution images of the speakers.
The first person to give me $3,500.00 gets these speakers and amps. Shipping costs are included in this price.
