    I don't know if anyone saw the TV show The Good Guys (Fox TV 9E/8C) last night, but there was entire discussion of vinyl vs. CD.  It was as if someone was ticking off the bullet points why vinyl is the better medium for listening to music.

It was very enjoyable.
And the setup was the older guy said he loved vinyl, and the younger guy went off about cd's being too compressed, the whole nine yards, and the old guy mutters, well...it's just that I can't open those cd cases...but whatever you say...I'm with you!

Vinyl also gets a mention in the new cop drama Detroit 187 in the latest episode.

BTW: Good Guys is pretty funny. The gag might wear thin after awhile, but I thought the latest episode was even better than some of the early ones. After being a fan of the "West Wing" it's pretty amusing to see Brad Whitford go from playing the slick, well polished politico to this character.
