Welcome to the Over-the-Hill Gang - kind of a "crossover" huh? Now on the downward "slope".
Sounds like your hobby.
Have a great time!

I went over that hill many years ago.  But thanks for the good wishes.   Who are you?  What did you say?  Where am I?

Congratulations, Dennis!!! It's been a little over a year for me and it's taken a year just to unwind and chillout realizing it's ok to do nothing, if I like!!

I still like this philosophy....

People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day. - Whinnie The Pooh

Well, if I choose to!!! Otherwise, I do one thing I like to do (at least one), and one thing I don't like to do, but need to!!! Then I feel some accomplishment in the Hundred Acre Wood!!!

Anyway, I know Jim will be keeping you somewhat busy.

Hope you have many years of GOOD HEALTH, FUN and doing what you have always wanted to do!!!

Rob

Thanks again, everyone.  Right now, all of my time is going into Jim's projects (the RAAL HT1 is waiting for me today) and taking care of the new pooch. When I trust him a little bit more on carpet, I'll snap a shot of him next to my new SS10 cabinet.  I'll do it again in 6 months and see whether he's outgrown them.

Hi  He's a British Golden Retriever. Hence the name--Big Ben.   I've always wanted one because they haven't been overbred and have very calm dispositions.  I would post a pic, but I don't see any way to do that.  I used to know how, but then I retired.

Welcome to the ranks of the voluntarily unemployed.
Perhaps you can design some crossovers for the rest of us retirees!

I heard he was one of the first employees. So that would put it at roughly 96 years.

Or maybe it just seemed like 96 years?

Well, I'll give you a hint.   I landed in Washington the day Nixon took off from the White House lawn.  I think there was more rejoicing over his exit than my arrival.

You think?   Well, I'm sure Washington eventually came to really appreciate Dennis and his work, Nixon's departure notwithstanding.
