Part of the idea behind this post is to force you to make up your mind.  So, again, what's your favorite song (SINGULAR!!!). :P

Oh, and even if it's not up to snobbish standards, please post a link to the song (video, streaming, legal download. . . if any or all exist).

I saw Iron Butterfly in concert near Washington, D.C, circa 1969 or 70.  Was deeply disappointed.  Boring show.
Damndest thing, Thunderbrick!  I saw The Dead open for Iron Butterfly in St. Louis ('68?) and they blew them away!

Oh yeah, favorite song: " Dark Star" _ The Grateful Dead

Never was taken with the Dead, but I was a much bigger fan of Quicksilver Messenger Service.  I have a torn up LP of theirs I'd like to replace.  Anybody got an dupes?   :icon_twisted:

Somewhere in my basement I have negatives of the Iron Butterfly Concert.

Final favorite?  Probably Nessun Dorma, but I don't think the Dead released that one.
