« on: 28 Aug 2010, 04:44 pm »
FS: HT3's, an HTC 3-way and a pair of HT1's in satin black with aluminum stringers. Less than a year old, they are in excellent condition.

They are located at 75501 (Northeast Texas).  I have all of the original packaging materials and can ship.  I am also willing to consider driving to meet for delivery, depending upon distance.

Unfortunatley, no

If not for circumstances beyond my control they would stay.    I enjoy the home theater experience (and it is an experience) they produce too much to look for other speakers.   I like to feel movies.

This and knowing what J. Salk and D. Murphy went through to make these happen is what has kept me from putting these up sooner.

Does that center dig deep as we think it does?  Do you run it full range or feed an LFE signal to it?

Sorry to hear circumstances have necessitated their departure. They are truly a beautiful looking as well as I'm sure sounding set. Best of luck finding them a deserving new home, and hope things improve soon.

I am not sure exactly how deep it does dig but the goal was to get into the mid 20s and lower if possible.   I was not exactly sure how it would work out when I decided to have Jim & Dennis go for it.

I tried going with no sub but for me it was just not the same.  I have LFE separate and could not do it without it.   I am sure some would be satisfied with these as they are for movies, but (knowing) the amount of LFE there is in movies I want to here it all.

Having had them for some time now, whenever I am able to set up another system for Home Theater it will have a 3-way center in it.   It is amazing how much there is actually sent to the center channel in movies.

Thanks for the response.  We're batting around the same setup for the ST's.  So maybe this fall.  Your version would be way too tall for my screen which is 22" above the stage.

These are truly beautiful speakers, sorry to hear that you have to part with them.  I've heard the HT3's and loved them.  I wish I could afford to go for this package, but I am saving for a downpayment on a house and therefore am putting most of my available funds towards that.

I can understand why you want to sell this as a package, but have you considered breaking it up?

For now I am trying to sell as a package, but they do have to go.   I am going to give it some time but if the possibility or interest is not there then I will break them up.

Very tempting to grab these and replace my SongTowers in the HT...must resist.

I bet this setup sounds stellar and would be a welcome addition to any HT.

Robert,

I am probably not your buyer at this time.  I wish you the best of luck on the sale.

It is a heck of a package.

A bit above my budget, but if the price is flexible, I would be interested.
