I will agree Big Ben is the difference maker.  Flacco is good but I question whether he can be very good, let alone great.  But he's better than anything we've had and hopefully the offense will continue to get better, starting with firing Cam Cameron.

Ryans pic six mistake cost big. Otherwise a well played high energy game. Pack is fired up!

Rogers is carving up the Falcons' secondary.

Two for two!!!

Good games today. I was happy to see the Steelers pull that win out.  Both teams had good defenses but Big Ben was the difference. That guy is highly underrated but he knows how to win, and he is a tough guy. He took sone hits and never gave up.

Bears versus the Pack next week (if the Bears make it past the lowly Seahawks).  That is going to be a fun game. I'd prefer to see the Bears play the Falcons.  They totally sucked today.

Oh, the Pats will totally destroy that clown Rex Ryan and the Jets. I expect the Pats to win by 20+.

Cheers

Rodgers game is mentally at another level.  Not sold on Cutlers ability to perform as a top caliber playoff qb.

Rex has become an embarrassment to the Jets and the league, he belongs on a team owned by Jerry Springer or Al Davis.

That bye week took some time to shead for Pitt.  But in the second half, it was.  Ben showed his stuff even if Palomalo didn't.  Loved their RB's work.  Suggs played at a high level.  Flacco looked very bad to me when it counted the most.

Aaron Rodgers is one cool customer.  I was watching his face and he looked in control the whole game.  Wow.  That was a beat down.  Felt sorry for the fans in the stadium.  Green Bay almost didn't make it to the playoffs.  Glad they have.  They look like the NFC's best chance.  Go Pack!

I'm thinkin Seattle and Bears is lookin like a fun game.  Thinkin bye week again, Seattle may get going fast.  Hey, I didn't think Atlanta could be beaten that bad, either :duh:.  But, da Bears have more substance on both sides of the ball.  And I wouldn't want to miss a Bears-Packers game.

I am very happy with the win but I thought it was an ugly game. The Steelers turned over the ball twice in the first half and the Ravens made the mistakes in the second half. It was a horribly officiated game which you do not expect in the playoffs. Those two teams really hate each other.

I thing the one thing is that Big Ben is a much better quarterback than Flacco. Joe stared down his receivers all night.

Some day the Ravens wil beat the Steelers but thank goodness not today.

+1 on that, a very sloppy game by both teams and the officials.  All the pundits are down on the Ravens, but forget how bad the Steelers were in the 1st half, the Ravens were one mistake worse in the 2nd.  So I'm worried about my Steelers next week against whoever.  Additionally, the Steelers were very beat up in the game with numerous dings and nicks.  What's up with Adams?  Sickness?  That's it?  And he can't go back in the game?  Gloom and doom forecast for the Conference Championship.

The Packers look unstoppable, GB -Pats Superbowl, hmmmmm.  Could be good, but I'll still be rooting for the Jets today.

Today's match-ups look less eventful than yesterday's but you never know.  Just kidding, I expect both home teams to win by a wide margin.  The Pack looked unstopable yesterday but they looked good going into their final home game against the Bears (a meaningless game for the Bears) and barely squeeked by with the victory.  If they meet in Soldier Field next week, they will be facing a much tougher Bears' team.  Rodgers looked as good as I've seen him look yesterday, and the Packer offense was humming along.  On the plays I watched, he had lots of time to survey the field and throw the ball.  He's going to be under more pressure next week...if they play in Chicago.

The Ravens/Steelers game was interesting and totally not what I expected.  I thought the Steelers would win but their sloppy play in the first half was totally unexpected.  They are a strong, defensive minded, disciplined team, especially in the playoffs.  That first half was brutal!  Fast forward to the second half and the Ravens did their best to return the favor!  I don't totally blame Flaco.  He threw some VERY catchable balls that were dropped.  That last ball (the one that would have given them the first down on a long fourth down play) was a heart-breaker.  A QB can't be responsible for his go-to receivers dropping perfectly thrown balls.

I'm installing a garbage disposal in my kitchen and will try to take pictures and post.  I've never done one before but didn't want to spend the $200 to get it done...wish me luck!

UPDATE: Removed old garbage disposal (the one below the sink) and installed new Insinkerator Evolution disposal.  I'm very happy we didn't spend the $199 to get it done professionally because it was an easy job.  The entire job took just over a half hour, including cleanup and testing, and we were taking our time.  Thankfully it used the same pipe connections as our old one and didn't require any major adjustments.

The new unit is quieter, and much nicer than the old one.  It grinds everything (corn cobs, orange peels, etc.) and does it almost silently.  Anyone thinking about changing out an old disposal should consider this one.  There are also some excellent instructions on the Home Depot site.

Cheers and Go Bears!

Speaking of garbage disposals, it looks like the Seahawks are going down the drain.

BBall???  Are you kidding me?

Hey, next week should be a great matchup versus the Pack.  The Bears sent several Seahawks off the field on carts and I expect the same next week.  Cutler really stepped up and played one of his best games and the defense continued their dominant play.  Seattle picked up some last minute points during the junk period of the game but they were never in it and had zero chance to come back from such a large deficit.  Congrats to Lovie and company.  The Bears fans (including me) doubted this team but they looked good today on both sides of the ball.

As soon as the Pats beat the Jets, I will be 4-0 for this weekend.  Sorry to all the guys who picked the Ravens, Falcons, Seattle (????) and the Jets.  Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing the Pats lose this game because they are the only domant team in this year's playoffs.  Even if the Jets win today (maybe Tom Brady breaks his leg on the first play) they will not make it past the Steelers anyway.  This would mean the Bears have a shot at the Steelers in the Superbowl (if they beat the Pack next week).  I'm getting ahead of myself.... :thumb:

Cheers,

What the hell is going on?  The Pats look completely inept!  Three points?  Oh, I get it.  They're gonna come out in the second half and score 30.  I gotta take my hat off to Rex and company.  They are blowin the Pats up.  Makin em look like weenie washers out there.  It's half time.  Think I'm going grocery shoppin.  More exciting.

"BBall???  Are you kidding me?" Sure man, in an exciting game Purdue let West Virginia take it.

Can Jets keep New England off balance? Oh man, what would Rex Ryan have to say if they win...
Steelers would love it though.
