I can't believe Kubiak kept his job.   :o  The Texans have underachieved all year.

" I feel the Jets are the better team this season but I expect Indy to prevail- Manning at home will probably be too much for NY to deal with."

I rarely see an NFL game live (3 times in my 56 years) but this Thanksgiving visiting family in Indy we went to the Chargers/Colts game. Good lord, I had no idea Manning & company could play that poorly if they tried. Home field was no advantage, what a destruction. The Jets have equal chance, and it could even be a close game. Who knows thou, they've both crapped out when the going gets tough.

Postscript- Local news down here says Kubiak will be getting a new defensive coordinator and asst coaches.  The number 4 was mentioned.  That sounds like a good thing to me!  Guess we'll see next season.

Manning will win this game.  Don't know if they will get past the next one but I don't think the Jets can beat Manning in the dome.

I hope you guys are right about Indy.  And I'm pullin for Green Bay, too, Robin.  Sure am hopeful.

All this talk by the TV pundits yet nobody that I've heard is speculating about Jeff Fisher.  What up with that?

Ok, every single prediction that I have heard from Eagle fans and haters alike, and from all the TV prognosticators, is for the Packers to trounce the Eagles.  I look at the game and even as an Eagle fan see a clear advantage for the Packers in players and in who is peaking now.  Yet the line is still between 1 and 3, centering around 2.5 in favor of the Eagles.  JFM's power ratings gives them only a 1.84 home advantage.  So we are to believe the bookies are idiots and are stubbornly holding on to a line for...what?  Or there are more idiot Eagle fans betting their hearts distorting the Vegas lines than sedate, middle America Packer fans who don't gamble, not likely either.  What gives?

I think it will be a close game, 3 or 4 point spread at most.  So to me the line is correct so far as you say, the Eagles fans are more likely to bet than the Packers fans.   How often are playoff games blowouts anyway?  Not too often.  Would you take the SeaHawks and 10.5 (opened at 13) at home?  I think I would.

The Seahawks suck but that's a lot of points. I think 13 points would have been enough to entice me into taking the Seahawks!  I still think the Seahawks will lose by 10 but  would not bet this game.  Not that I bet any games...
