I personally like the AFC's Chances in the Big Game! Go Steelers!Ken
Man, it was sure tough to root for the Fudgepackers, but tonite I had no choice! I loathe GB & Chicago almost equally, but I despise the Giants even more! So for one week at least, thanks Fudgies!
I will be rooting for the Steelers since my team (NY Giants) didn't make it.George
I'll remember this comment for later reference if needed after their season is over. Wade Phillips is available,,, Cheers,Robin
Just for you Robin....a quote from John Mara (co-owner of the Giants)"...In this society, everybody wants to fire the coach all the time. The Yankees get knocked off in the playoffs, everybody wants to fire the manager." "Well, we don't do that here. He's going to be our coach. Because I believe in the guy, I believe in stability, you can't build anything if you are constantly making changes and firing people. That is not our culture and it is just not what we believe in. We know this guy is a good coach and we want him to lead us into next season."This quote is exactly why the Giants have had more success than the Cowgirls over the last decade plus. George
I think the Steelers vs. Eagles would make for an entertaining Super Bowl.
I am totally surprised that the Giants did not make the playoffs and in fact I am surprised, in general, at the outcome of the NFC East Division. At the beginning of the year I think most football fans believed the East was the best division in all of Football. Many expected the Cowboys, followed by the Giants to be in the playoffs. Hardly anyone predicted the Eagles would win the division, especially after traded McNabb. Anyway, George, I am happy to learn you will be pulling for the Steelers during the playoffs. Somehow, I think we will get to face the Ravens again. Two teams that play as if they are in the playoffs every time they face each other! Oh Joy!Ken
Colts over Jets (Manning at home in the playoffs)Saints over the Seahawks (last night was a horrible excuse for a game with the winner in the playoffs)Ravens over ChiefsPackers over EaglesKen

The next month will be interesting to see where some coaches decide to go. Wonder if Cowher and Gruden will return the field.
