Well, as much as I was sure the Pats would roll 'em I think the weather may help Da Bearz.  The weather is horrible here in South Dakota and probably worse there.  Just watched the footage of the Metrodome collapsing- pretty unreal!  And imagine, it's not even officially winter for another week! :duh:

Imagine Rob, it's 43 degrees, windy as hell and raining here on the upper slopes of the Vermont Green Mtns.

Belichick has them practice outside in the winter.  I don't like the guy but it's rare that his teams are not ready to play.

Belichick brings out a bag full of frozen footballs from the freezer during practice and tell his players deal with it!

Well, some analysts were tossing this around this morning and enthusiastically said, when it snows, you PASS.  Oh, I hadn't thought about that.  Sure makes sense now.

Yeah, there's a school of thought that when the field is bad the receiver has the edge; he knows his route and the defender will slip trying to make adjustments.  Must be working today!

Public humiliation at Soldier Field. Looks like the Pats are going to win big. They are the better team. Congratulations Patriots.

On a side note, just saw the Hanes cimmercial and noticed something strange. When did Michael Jordan begin sporting the Hitler mustache?  Not a good look for MJ.

Yeah I think charles Barkley called him out on it.  I guess you get to a point when you can rock a hitler and nobody will call you on it.

After what the Bears did to my Cowboys at the begining of the season, I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the 2nd half of this game.  :green:  Your congratulations to the Patriots isn't valid yet Jack,,, gotta wait til the game is over.

Cheers,
Robin

Robin, this game was over a long tine ago, when Johnny K fumbled.

Hopefully a humiliating loss will get Lovie and Angelo out of here quicker. The Bears were outplayed and outcoached in every facet.

Ouch....

We football fans have an exciting 3 final games of the regular season to look forward to watching.  The Patriots have clearly established themselves as the team to beat in the postseason and I do not see another AFC Team beating them at Gillette Stadium.  I am just hoping The Steelers can win the 2nd. place position in the AFC to enable them to rest during the first week of the playoffs.

The NFC Race appears to be wide open and waiting for teams to step-up and and claim the top spots.

Lovie,

I'm tired of being a fan of a team that your are coaching and losing when it counts.   Not even competitive and your team got outplayed in all 4 phases as they say at Soldier field, pathetic.

The whole NFC north didn't fare well this weekend.  The dome collapsing, Rogers gets another concussion and the Lions win?  Vikes playing a home game in Detroit along with free tickets.

Not a good weekend.....better fire up the stereo and forget about it all.

Wow, the Iggles/Cowgirls game was quite a scrap!  Dallas has really turned it around, and even though they lost I don't think anyone's looking forward to playing them.  And as much as I've loathed Vick for all the crap he's done (eg. the "Ron Mexico" VD-fest, trying to smuggle his "works" thru the airport, and of course the noxious dogfighting debacle) it really seems he's turning his life around.  It's plain to see that he's working harder, studying film more and doing his best to transform himself from freakishly-talented slacker to polished NFL QB.  I find myself actually pulling for the guy; he's returned Philly to relevance for me.  I hope he makes the Pro Bowl. :thumb:

Had to laugh at that one, Robby.  Yuk-yuk-yuk :thumb:.

The Jets gonna get things turned around?  Bad enough they got beat but AT HOME?  Bet the NY papers are gonna have a field day with that lame move by an assistant on the side line.  Maybe the League will fine em.

Whatever San Francisco is taking, I want some.  And, it's about time for them Bills :D.

And what about those Chargers?

Everyone is focusing on Vic and Jackson, but who really won the game was McCoy and the O line controlling the last four minutes of the game.  The Cowgirls were coming back strong and could have easily won or at least tied the game if they had gotten the ball back, the Iggles running game sealed the win for the Birds.

I'm pulling for Vick and the Iggles. This guy is showing leadership and class and it is hard not to root for him.

Also, after digesting that brutal game at Soldiers Field something occurred to me. Tom Brady is The Man. That guy gets overlooked at times because of the excellent system of the Pats offense but he is the best bad weather QB I have ever seen and o
quite possibly the best QB to ever play the game. As far as I can tell, he has no weakness. I hope Jay Cutler and the Bears keep a tape of Brady running that offense and play it on constant loop as an example of the ultimate level of professionalism. The whole team was perfectly prepared and executed flawlessly. I didn't like the outcome but as a football fan I admire the way the pats played.

Yeah you have to give it to Belichick and Brady, no denying their are masters at their craft.  How they retooled on the fly and put together the leagues best team with a collection of "who's that" type talent is extremely impressive.
