From a Ravens fan to all Steeler fans:

May your New Year be peaceful, and may you find nothing on TV worth watching on Sundays in January!

Gotta admit I like Troy Palomalu, though.    :thumb:

Ben?  Not so much.

Wasn't there a game last night?   I started to feel sorry for Carolina, then I remembered they're a bunch of millionaires...

Happy whatever this time of year means to you!

Hey Thunderbrick,I had a money making idea!A Ray Lewis Halloween mask, complete with war paint and that funny looking hat thing.Imagine reading a book at night, hearing a noise, and looking at that mug peering at you.Has someone beat me to this?On the other end,how about Brian Urlacher with that droit stare. It was done a long time ago when I watched a game with some fan wearing a Tor Johnson mask, the wrestler who was in the movie (Plan Nine from Outer Space). If this hasn't been done,I'm sure it would be a big money maker.....Mark Korda

Good game last night. Really liked Feeley's 48 yard field goal, and then kick off he laid on the 0 yard.

Actually, that game turned out exceptionally well for Dallas.  They got to look at a third string QB that needed some real playing time, they discovered what they knew all along that they still need a kicker, and, by virtue of a 1 point loss, moved up about 4 places in the draft-  All are things that they needed more than a meaningless win against a weak team.

They lost to a five-win team. Not exactly what Jerry has in mind. Jason Garrett may be on the street next Monday.

Clearly this season is not what Jerry had in mind, but the reality is that Dallas is a mediocre team, capable of beating the big boys, but not consistently.  It's a team that suddenly got old and slow in the trenches, sloppy and stupid, and needs help if they are going to compete at the top in the way that their fans expect.  As far as losing to a 5 win team, that is the level of this team at this point.  As for Garrett, he is here for at least until his contract runs out.  Jerry is already paying Garrett, still has to pay Wade, and will be reluctant to pay a third head coach when the next season is in doubt.

There's a shootout going on in Chicago vs the Jets:

31-31 midway thru the 3rd quarter.  :guns:

Yeah, fun game to watch.

I laughed at Dallas last night but S Clark is correct.  Dallas won by losing that game.  As much as I hate to admit it.

Yep, it was unexpectedly a very entertaining game from two 5-12 teams with nothing to play for on X-mas day.

I heard Garrett had to win 5 games to keep his job. So far he's got 4 with a game left to go.

I believe Jerry Jones will hire a new coach but not until after the season ends.  I listened to Jerry's being interviewed and why I felt he would make a coaching change I admit to being confused by some of his comments.  He said something to the effect of "no coach has ever won a Super Bowl as head coach of two teams."  This would seem to eliminate some of the big name coaches on the sidelines or is Jerry floating a smoke screen?

I was a little taken aback by it as well, but the Eagles and the NFL had nothing to do with it.  The City of Philadelphia postponed the game because of public safety concerns.  The players can play in any weather and the fans will sit through anything weather wise, I know, I'm a former Eagles season ticket holder.  But you could get quite a few people killed on the roads tonight driving in blizzard conditions.  So unless you think the death of another human being is inconsequential, perhaps you should keep your pathetic comments to yourself.  Just saying.
