One of them is sitting waiting for me to do the final sand and polish steps.  I thought I was there, then barely went through the finish in a few spots, so I added another 5 layers.  Hopefully that will be good this time...

I am walking up from 1000 Grit to 2000 Grit wet sanding, then doing rubbing compound, then polishing, all the way to wax.  So, my arms get tired...

Just think of it as a workout.  No need for a gym.  No pain, no gain

All right, I know it has been a long time.  I am not done polishing, but here is one of the speakers on the order of 90% done with respect to looks and finishing...

Thanks guys.  THere are things that I am not 100% happy with, but I want to listen to them before I start loosing my hearing, so I am going to have to be ok with them...

I think once the music is playing I won't see a single problem.

Anyway, so far I am happy since this is my first set of speakers I have ever built and my first time veneering...

have you decided how you are going to attach the front baffles?  i have both of mine glued up, and am currently planning out how to cut the no-rez.  i have test fit my baffles and i'm going to need to do a lot to get them the match the cabinets perfectly.

Honestly, I haven't and you are right about the baffles requiring some work for them to fit...
