I have the time finally to build some speakers , and I've decided to go all out (either the Super V's or LS9) so the kit I've been sitting on for a while is for sale.

-OB7's with xbl woofer upgrade
-Flat Pack, made by RAW
-Built Crossovers, special because they were put together by Danny himself  :thumb:, and they use the Alpha Core foil inductors!

Everything is new, and still bubble rapped. Includes hardware, extra wire, vampire binding posts, extra solder etc. Would cost around $1300 for the parts, and crossover construction, and it includes the costly Alpha Cores!

I'm in Raleigh NC, can deliver or meet a decent distance. Shipping is probably around $70, not certain though. Just remembering by what i paid.

Thanks,
Giyan

Ps, I can post some pics also! Need to find my camera cable.

Edited for flat pack info, see post below.

Hey Anand! Thanks man, hope everythings going well with you. The Okara are my main speakers until I get this build done, sounding great as always. See you around NC sometime. I still need to go by K&K, I need to learn how to build amps .

So I pulled the flat pack for sale. It's been in the boxes since I received it. When I dry fit everything today, I realized more work will need to be done to make the crossovers fit inside with how they were built. With the couple other minor quirks it had, I decided I didn't want to sell a flat pack that needs a bunch of work. I'm going to fix everything and build them out either as complete speakers or just finished enclosures, and sell them then.

Kit and crossovers are still for sale though. $1000, still roughly a $300 discount.

Thanks,
Giyan

How does this speaker compare to the av123 x-static?  I have a pair of those and thought of upgrading the crossovers in them.  I am not too far from raleigh if yours are still available.

I've never heard the x static, or the ob7's yet. If I had to guess, I'd say that with the BG tweeter, smaller mids, and better crossover parts, the OB will have a good deal better detail and resolution. The tweeter being a significant upgrade, though very revealing if source or amps aren't at a high leavel. Then, the tweeter could be a little forward maybe? With four woofers as well, the mid bass and bass should be quiker, more detailed, and a little punchier too.

They are still available, although I'm about to start finishing the cabs, and in a couple weeks will be a finished pair. At that time I may try to sell them around $1300-$1500 depending on finish. I'm thinking of trying a really nice painted and polished finish.

Unfortunately no :bawl: Ive had sort of a trainwreck of a summer. Starting to think i'll never get these done. Need to buy a spray rig and some other tools before I start working on them. Long story short, I was supposed to go back to work a couple weeks ago after being off all summer, but did not go back...probably a good thing that I didn't buy super v's also, although it sucks hearing about how good they are..
