As for ethics/moral. You should note that after 2000 years of Christianity they are mainly based on The Bible and the Ten Commandments. Of course one of the commandments was "prorogued" so certain people could own and operate banks. However there's nothing there about copyright.

I'll take the DVD's if you want  :eyebrows:, I dont see anything ethcally wrong with what you want to do , legally well its hard to say, A buddy of mine donated his CD's awhile back to a library and he hasn't had any problems, maybe call your library and ask what their policy is on accepting DVD's or CD's they can probably give you an answer.

As a practical matter, some libraries will not accept donated CD or DVD material. I asked my local library and they do not take this material if donated. They want to show their copy was purchased and therefore benefited the artist.
