10 years? I mostly collect jazz and classical so sometimes it takes me 20 years to catch up in other genres. Fortunately I have friends (and a wife) who occasionally insist I pay attention to a great artist. That's how I discovered both Eva Cassidy and Peter Wolf. My wife has gotten me to appreciate Pink and it took my 89 year old father-in-law, a nearly exclusive classical music guy, to turn me on to Roy Orbison. I also discovered some fine jazz guitarists, including Mimi Fox, by following a thread on the Circle. So thank God for friends, family and AC or I'd still be listening to nothing but early Miles.
