Neil those are beyond beautiful. I couldn't even dream of making something that awesome.

You know what I would love to find out when you have some time is if you can hear any difference by addressing any reflection off the top surface of the woofer cabinet? Maybe a piece of felt or a towel placed over the surface?

Too kind and thanks

Good point, I wonder if Danny has a comment on this?
After they settle in, I'll do a little experimenting.
Thanks
Neil

Awesome build Neil! I totally agree with the post regarding the grills. Maybe one day you'll have upgraditis and decide to sell them (not that you would need or want to). I'd like to put in my dibs before anyone else does.

Looking forward to your review

Neil,

First, nice build.  Now I know where you spent your time on. The last photo draw my attention. I notice the surround on that DS1510 has become a bit grey. You can use tire shine liquid to make it shine like new. The surround is made of rubber.

Thanks guys, for the compliments, and Brian, I'll try some Armor All on the surround.

NeilT.    Very nice work on your speakers, they are gorgeous.
But one note of caution......I would not advise Armour All for this use.
Armour All has its uses but I do not believe this will be beneficial here in the long term.

Just don't get any of that on the M-130 cones or it will discolor it.
