Just in time for Thanksgiving. You know what that means... I know, I know, you'll "NEVER do it again."
Anybody try one of the Groove Tubes 5751M 5751 Mullard Re-issue listed on Ebay?My 901 ships today
Ozark TomSylvania Gold 5751 Platinum in Sensation 901 tube buffer, Mullard ensemble in Eastern Electric Pre and 13D5 in Eastern Electric Mini Max Tube DAC! Add Louis's Omega Super Hemps. Priceless!
Needs an input signal, not load for break-in.
Roger told me that there will always be a tiny amount of load on the system regardless of whether speakers are attached, and that this would be sufficient for burn-in providing an ongoing input signal. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I may be wrong on this but I thought that T-amps should always be run with a load (burning in or otherwise). So it's probably best to err on the side of safety and connect a load anyway.
I think I'm missing something here.....why would you NOT connect your speakers to the amp AND play music through them for burn in? Isn't the point of having the amp to play music, allllllll the time?! Sorry, this is the non-audiophile talking, if burn-in is a "must" why not just play music through all the time? so confused I don't get you guys at all!
