Im curious about this,I've hung my hat on the MiniWatt N3,so for me the OB-7 and N3 are out for me,they just wont be efficient enought so I've chosen another path.Eric from Tekton Design has a very interresting speaaker coming out very soon OB-6.5 hybrid floorstander,I've already heard his OB-4.5 hybrid standmount and it was the best fostex based setup I've heard as a matter of fact it was very very good and 1 of the best speakers I've heard, but it just didnt have the bass or the output i needed. He has a cheap tweeter that he uses for people who want a tweeter, and i would be 1 of those people, but i would need a higher resolution tweeter than that, and plus i own a pair of X-Statik's and im quite fond of the Peerless India tweeter, plus i have experiance with the standard neo tweeter, and some of Hi-Vi planer magnetic tweeters. What i wanna know is are these 2 tweeters good at crossing high,i know their monsters at crossing low, which is how Danny likes to cross, and are the neo pdr with the cups are available as a stand alone part or just in the kits, any info would be helpful thanks.

Well, there is no problem crossing a GR-T6 or a Neo 3 higher in range, but what woofer is there that will outperform either of them from 2kHz and up?

You know I have some open baffle kits with 97db sensitivity?

Also, Dodd Audio has an of the grid (battery powered) tube amp that is 15 watts and will do 30 watt peaks for only $1,595. It really beats up most of the high dollar amps out there and most of the single digit tube amps as well. It will also be just enough power for an OB-7 or N3 in a small room.
