Recently, just some replacement rubber belts for my good old philips LHH-1000 ..  20+ yrs old and still good as new.  Gotta love old electronics, they seem to last forever.

Apart from this, i'm thinking of a small affordable <40w tube intergrated amp for my bookshelf ( pair of old JVCs)

Congrats!
Though I really feel for you...not being able to listen to all this gear you've invested in.  Right now, I can relate, as I've been pushed out of my house while my builder completes some rectifications on my house.  I'm truly missing my kit.

For old school music I can't think of a better speaker for my taste.

It does get hard looking at the gear day after day begging to be hooked up.
But I have to get things worked out before I am in some other place where I
can do the Mega unboxing.

Look forward to that -  :thumb:  There aren't enough Bryston component / system videos up on YouTube.  I like Craig Bell well enough but I'm always looking for new / user videos of their kits.  Let us know 1oldguy.

One more  Great thing about Bryston amps is their flexibility.I am thinking about a preamp that has some different things I like about it...With Bryston Amps I can with the flick of a switch...go back and fourth.

My latest buy? Audeze LCD-2 headphones. I drive them with a Grace Designs m902 headphone amp. These are in addition to my Sennheiser HD800s. The HD800s are outstanding in terms of transparency and what I take to mean as accuracy. The LCD-2s have a less open and airy sound that reviewers call "dark". The sound is more intimate and compelling. If I were a recording engineer, I would not be without the HD800s. But compared to the LCD-2s, they are cold and clinical. I'm not a sound engineer. I'm an audiophile, which means I love the gear, but more than that, I love music. The LCD-2s are all about the music - they make it warm, punchy, exciting. I admire the HD800s, which will spend a lot of time in the box. I love the LCD-2s. They will spend a lot of time on my head, and likely connected to a Bryston BHA-1.

The UPS man brought me a box today with Harmonic Technology power cord and Truth Link IC's.  I'm eager to get home and try them out!

I'm anxious to hear your impressions. I've been running Harmonic Tech ic's, and speaker cables in my system. My new gear has created a need for an additional set of ic's, and I have been debating whether to stay 100% Harmonic Tech, or throw something else in to the mix.

Rick :  This year I went from using a combo of things to cabling my entire system with one product and it has been really satisfying. Don't know if that would hold true generally ( I'm sure some will disagree with this approach ) but that's how it worked out for me FWIW. Of course all of this is moot because the whole cable thing is irrelevant anyway...
