thanx, Nonamemouse. never heard of this German company before. cool that he guy who owns the company is a millionair and doesn't care about making any profit...hifi from the bottom of someone's heart! unusual somehow.
and if you've got this unit at home let us know what you think, please :D

al.

It is very hard to find anything online about it. I don't mind, this way it is exclusive :)

Unfortunately it will be about 6 to 9 weeks before I can go pick it up. But... The visit automatically includes meeting the maker and a tour through the factory!

As soon as it's here (and I played about 50% of my CD's) I'll be back with a full report.

Six Herbie's UltraSonic Preamp Tube Dampers for my preamp. Currently inbound.

And commemorative Tshirts for everyone involved in the great " Whither China? " debate at the beginning of this thread !

It's a little hard to make out but it says " Built In Chino, Not China "...not that there's anything wrong with that ! :thumb:

Perhaps James could get some Tshirts made up...they could say : " Bryston -Built In Canada, Not In Some Warmer and More Hospitable Place ".

Current temperature in Winnipeg : -20 Celsius. Lovely evening overall !

Anyone that could comment on 14B vs a pair of 7Bs in such situations....

A Rega P3-24 "table,a Rega Apollo CD Player, and a pair of MMG Maggies.
I'm glad I decided to keep my old Bryston .5B preamp after all.It really does the Rega P3 justice.
I had to send it in for repairs after I bought it second-hand. Bryston Service in Vermont has gone through it,and given it a clean bill of health! :icon_lol: I'm sure I'll be enjoying it for many years to come.
The only thing I'd like to pick up is a Bryston 4B at a fair price. I think they'd power up my Mangnepan MMG's quite well!  :wink:Not that my 3B  I have now is doing a bad job,but a little more juice is always a good thing...

BP26P + BDA-1.  Picked them up a few months months ago but only recently unpacked them.  Awesome stuff.

Indeed.  The wait was forced as my basement was being renovated.  Picked them up to replace my B100/DAC/MM which is now at a friend's house.  The sound is superb [on both the old and new systems].
