...cool, Dave! how do you like it? did you choose spades?

al.

I like it a lot! You can really hear the details in the music. It's more dynamic, it has more bass, and it's more open sounding than my Belden cables.

Grado ps-500's, Anyone know how long they will take to break in/quote]

When you except the new sound signature of these cans compared to what you had before. Then these will be "broken in".

Hey Robert - thanks for your updated pics of your system.  Any chance you could share some from the drivers seat perspective with your S8's in view?  I'd like to see how you've put it together, given your style and taste with your racks etc.

Oops - I think your pics of your rack changes were on the other thread...but you can share in either place and I'll find it.  Cheers.

The above pic is of the Ref 5.  The Ref 5 SE version got a cosmetics update as well as performance improvements.  It is even more beautiful. (Top unit of picture below)

Big Congratulations.

I actually prefers the retro squarish plastic buttons

But the new look definitely matches the Bryston electronics better particularly on the BDA-1 round buttons.  :thumb:

Thanks folks!

Samsung 8-series
46"
LED
It is less than 1.2 inches thick.

http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE46D8000YUXXU

It replaced my 32" CRT. Great improvement.
I am impressed of the low price of high-end TVs. Samsungs Electronics divison has 160 000 employees.
If the price competition and production volumes in high end audio where something close, high-end audio would only cost a fraction of today's pricing.
