Daniel,
Sounds good!  Let us know how you like the separates.  I made a similar change last month.  Very pleased!

How you chosen your cabling?

Upgrading from B100-SST to BP20+14B-SST combo.
Change signal path from unbalance to balance throughout entire system.
Pioneer DVD player has been replaced by OPPO 95EU.
Samsung plasma TV has been replaced by Panasonic V20 series.

Over the past several months I've been fortunate enough to pick up the bda-1, BDP-1, Oppo digital BDP-95, McIntosh c2300 and for speakers the PMC EB1i.

As far as I'm concerned I am content for now :)   It rather amazing to have full range speakers connected to the best source I've heard.   With a bryston souce and amplification the bass is extremely precise, midrange is accurate and the highs are intoxicating.  But the precise bass, wow, Dire Straights and James Blake have never sounded so great.      As there is always room to experiment with gear, this is a great hobby to have.

Hi,
I was lucky to buy my dreamed amplifier. Before me were two options state 14B or 7B.
Just a month ago there was an action in Ebay.de for 14B-SST and a single 7B-SST used for backup in Stockfish Records with zero working hours. Here is the link to the person who was selling them:http://stockfish-records.de/paulerac/pa_pauler!.html
To answer the question vegasdave asked: this is SST version .
The price in Europe are equal to USA only in figures before currency.
I paid 30%( 3000 euro) of today price.
As for example I asked dealer in my country for the price of 7B-SST2 which is 5000 euro each.
The pre-amplifier BP20 cost me 500 euro.
4 years ago when I bought Bryston B100-SST + BCD-1, they cost me 5000$, and now B100-SST alone is 5500 euro which is 2000 euro more than BP20-14B-SST combo.
I use Canare LV-61S and Canare LV-77S with Neutrik Phono RCA, balance lines are Van Damme Quadstar microphone again with Neutrik XLR connectors , speaker cables are Van Damme tri-way of 2X2.5 sqmm and 1x4 sqmm with WBT mixture of spades WBT 0681, straight banana plugs WBT 600 and angled banana plugs WBT 0645.

I'm using the Analysis Plus Solo Crystal for the interconnects and speaker wire, and Digital Oval for the AES.   I went with the BDP-1 over the BCD :). I have the BDP-95 to play a select few SACDs I own and the occasional Movies which is connected to a Pioneer Elite located between the speakers.

Ok, cool. Thanks. Great amp. Are those PMC speakers?

It's a Vibraplane table for electron microscopes and such. Now the question of how to fit equipment on it. Not to mention where the air hose goes through the cave wall.

Hi vegasdave,
these are PMC OB1i. Actually I was among the first to have one of these, as there was no dealer in my country I had to buy either from Austria or UK. There were a PMC OB1 "demo speakers" in Austria for 3700 euro and the new PMC OB1i in UK for 3000 GBP. So I've chosen the new model from UK dealer.

Cool. Sounds like a good buy. The PMCs are very expensive here in the US. A good speaker nevertheless.
